The BSN Actimove Gauntlet provides strong support to the wrist and thumb during recovery from injuries such as thumb sprains, metacarpophalangeal (MCP) and carpometacarpal (CMC) dislocations of the thumb, and suspected fractures of the scaphoid bone in the wrist. It can be also used to relieve arthritis or tendonitis in the wrist and thumb. This brace features rigid aluminium stays in order to hold the wrist and thumb in an neutral position suitable for good healing. The aluminium stays are pre-formed in an anatomically correct shape, but can also be moulded for a custom fit.
