The Adult Smart Pads Cartridge is the replacement electrode set for the Philips Heartstart HS1 defibrillator. For use on adult patients. The whole cartridge is attached to the defibrillator, unopened. The defibrillator detects when the cartridge is opened and the pads are removed for use, and responds accordingly with the relevant voice prompts.
