The Combat Application Tourniquet (CAT) is a military-spec tourniquet designed for use in cases of major bleed trauma from an arm or leg. Due to its lightweight, easy-to-use design a conscious casualty may be able to apply this tourniquet to themselves.
- Can completely stop arterial bleeding from an arm or leg
- Can be applied one-handed
- Will remain secure during patient transport
We recommend the CAT as an add-on for our Bomb Blast First Aid Kit and our Major Incident Kit. Please read the instructions and commit them to memory upon receipt - do not wait until you need to use it. This tourniquet is also available in orange.
