ZOLL® CPR-D-padz® are the replacement pads / electrodes for the ZOLL AED Plus® defibrillator. Other defibrillators use two seperate electrodes, meaning the rescuer has to stop to think about where to place each pad. However, these ZOLL pads are a single piece - all the rescuer has to do is lay the central blue portion along the centre of the casualty's chest, and the two electrode pads are then automatically in their correct places. The ZOLL CPR-D-padz also have a shelf-life of five years, which is more than twice as long as other defibrillator pads.
